When Sword Group married AgencyPort and Intech to form Sword Insurance two years ago, a valuable market force was created. Together, we became a broad global organization with capabilities that add deep value across the insurance technology spectrum.

Really good. But not good enough. There was still something missing… the magic that got us here in the first place.

With support from one of the oldest, most successful private equity firms in the world, we've been able buy our company back. We are positioned to move quickly and aggressively toward our ultimate vision of being one of the top 5 insurance software companies in the world.

To do so, we will have to offer our customers and partners more of what they want and need to stay ahead—more products, more bright ideas and more impeccable delivery and service. We will dedicate ourselves completely to developing and delivering the solutions that will drive the next 10 years of growth in the industry and help transform our customers' businesses.

We've learned a lot in the last couple of years—about the limitless potential for improvement of insurance technology, about the extraordinary visions our customers have for themselves, and about what we want (and don't want) to be. Our future is bright. Which means yours is too. Welcome (back) to Agencyport.

Why Agencyport… again?

The short answer is, why mess with a good thing? For the last six months, our marketing team and a number of outside experts in both the US and the UK have spent countless hours drawing out and articulating what makes this company special. We spoke with everyone: management, frontline, the media, customers, analysts, you name it. And we asked difficult questions: What do we do that no one else does? What do we do best? Worst? What values do we hold dear? What is our vision for the future?

In the end, we learned a lot of things that, in many ways, we already knew. We are and want to continue to be a company with:

  • unwavering customer dedication and service
  • a laser focus on product and market innovation and leadership
  • big company capability and small company feel
  • an infectious and respectful company culture that breeds new ideas

There are many words that we heard repeatedly: forward-thinking, transformative, responsible, tireless, trustworthy, innovative, fair, fun. They are words that are both enviable and familiar—words that have long been associated with the Agencyport brand. Pure gold.

We all know that a name alone does not make a brand; it is the combined everyday expertise, creativity, drive, and deeds large and small that underpin that name that creates the magic… But if a name is already imbued with some of that hard-earned magic, it's valuable. And with some tweaking and polish will become more so—lending strength to our vision moving forward.
